The Looks
Actually, it was supposed to look like a signboard hanging from the top of a stage and there were many cameras and flashes. But, it was damaged and it looks horrible. So, I decided to make another one and i thought, "Maybe I should put a mascot...". And so, i made it like this. I should have made the mascot into a heart as it fits our logo: Have a green heart. Most of the colours, actually all of the colours, were chosen by me as my other group members has bad taste in choosing colours. No offence..

Contribution
Most of them were done by me as my group members thinks that the best artist should do it..I deserve something, you know... The second most contribution is Shi Yah, the secretary of the group. She provided for me all the information to write into the brochure and I am really thankful to her. She saved me from the toughest work. Joanne is third. She cut out some pictures of water and electricity and gave me to paste into the brochure. She also gave me information about the importance of electricity which Shi Yah was unable to provide me. And lastly, Jasmine. She did not do much but she helped me with the design of the brochure. I am thankful to her.

Why the title?
Why did we choose the title 'Heal the World'? Well, actually, during a certain time, me and Shi Yah were singing Michael Jackson's song 'Beat it'. In that moment, I asked her, " How about we make our title of the brochure ' Heal the World " ?' She then agreed, so did the rest of our group members.

Additional Notes
There is a page in our brochure titled ' The Five 'S' '. What does it mean? The five 'S':
Save water
Save electricity
Save the Earth
Save money
Save yourself
I really like the last 'S', save yourself. The reason why we chose this 'S' is because if we do not save the first three 'S', the Earth will probably disappear. In order to save ourselves and money, we must first save water, electricity and the Earth. That way, the Earth would be saved.

I really loved the way my brochure is made because..because I love it! What more reasons could it be? Please remember to do what you can to save the Earth. Earth is DYING! Have a green heart. It is not to late to make a difference!

reSACKel
Opinion
In my opinion, i think that the reSACkel bag is such a useful bag to the environment as it helps the environment. When i read that it can save the environment by reducing the future needs of disposable plastic bags, I felt that this statement is true as disposable plastic bags are a burden to the environment. Why? Plastics cannot be burned as they are non-biodegradable materials, which means that they give out poisonous gas. They also cannot decompose. If this continues, the world will be polluted with non-biodegradable materials.

Their Reason
Distinctive – Because we only clean the fabric, your bag still carries all the original designs and text from the sack, this creates an original and distinctive bag. They are also unique as no 2 sacks are exactly alike. Each will have small differences due to its previous life as a rice sack.
Great variety – The sack manufacturers are really working to make their sacks bright and colourful, there are literally thousands of designs out there, it’s just a matter of getting out there and finding them. As a result we have an increasing number of bag designs to choose from, so there is bound to be a design you like.
Constantly changing - The great thing about working with old sacks is you don’t need in house designers dreaming up cool new designs, these are all originals. We continue to source sacks from a variety of suppliers, so the collection is constantly changing.
Exclusive – There are only so many sacks of one design or pattern we can source at any one time, therefore the numbers are going to be limited, unlike new fabric bags where they are mass produced by the hundred thousand.
Collectable – With so many changing designs, you can make sure you have you favourites with you at all times.

I agree with these following reasons. I support the reason that the bags are tough. Normal plastic bags sometimes tear when a heavy object is placed inside. It is quite annoying. But, to think that this reSACKel bag can carry loads of 25kg and 50kg really surprised me. This shows that the reSACKel bag is truly a GREAT bag.

In their website too, http://www.resackel.com/customersay, they posted comments that people made. Most of the customers said that the product is very good. Many of them also said that the bag is Eco-friendly. This comment is what I totally agree. -----------------------------------------------------------
Materials
The reSACkel bag is made 100% of reused plastic sackings. There are also nylon stitches so that it will remain strong. It was really smart for someone to come out of the nylon stitching as it will remain strong. Toughness is the key to long lasting equipments. The tags and the labels are also made out of unbleached paper sourced from a paper mill using managed forests. This shows that the reSACKel bag is made out from recycled materials. Conclusion
In conclusion, I think that the reSACKel bag is good, strong, Eco-friendly and efficient. I really hope that the world will start to use this bag earlier as global warming is occurring. G Tower's Green Features

Why?
Why is it worth praising? To me, I think that it is CERTAINLY a green feature. I think that this is much more better than the other green feature.

Reason?
The reason. I think that recycling rain water is the best thing to do as water is being used up everyday. Water is precious, therefore we need to conserve water as much as possible. Looking back at the previous blog post, the reasons are stated clearly. Water is important for recreation, agriculture, power and for all living things. Water has a limited supply. Water cannot go on forever. That is why, we need to conserve and save water. This recycling system has shown good aspects of saving water. They have thought of a good plan of recycling water with this rain water harvesting system. It is more efficient that to ask people to conserve water as most probably, people will not heed to the advice. In truth, people will only start doing something when something like 'the world is flooding'( an example, but it won't happen(: ). Then only they will start doing it as they want to save their lives. No offence, but to me, this is how the human mindsets work. That is why, this green feature is the one most worth praising.

LEARNING ISSUE
What?
One of our learning issues found in our FILA chart is: Why is water important?.
Why is water important? Many people ponder on this question. Why do we need to save water? Why must we conserve water? How are we going to survive without water? There are many reasons to this questions.
Reason?
The answer to the previous question: ' Why is water important?'
All living things need water : More than half of all animals and plants live in water. The human body is two-thirds water. A human can live for more than a month without food, but only for a few days without water. Water is necessary for most of the biochemical reactions that occur in all living things.
Our water supply is limited : 80% of the Earth is covered with water but only one 1% is fresh water that humans can use. Water can't be created.
Water is needed to grow crops for food : Water is used in photosynthesis, the process plants use to convert sunlight into carbohydrates. Irrigation uses 39% of our water supply, that is six times more than all other industries.
Water is important for generating power : Almost 40% of our freshwater supply is used for generating hydroelectric power. Hydroelectric power makes up 11% of the United States total power supply.
Water is important for RECREATION : People use water for swimming, boating, surfing, water skiing and other activities.
How?
How did we come out with this Learning Issue? Simple. Just think on the water wasted everyday in our daily lives. Look at your family. How did they waste water? By leaving the tap on, using it for fun, polluting water in ponds and many others. Thinking about these things will come about questions which need answers. One of the questions that was mentioned earlier: Why is water important?
Why?
Why did we pick this Learning Issue? Why? It is because this is the first question that will come in mind. If we do not think of this question, we cannot act. We do not know how important water is. Some people do not know how important water is. We need to find out why.
Water is very important and we need to find out what is it important for. Forget about other questions. Just think about this one: Why is water important? We will surely find the answer to this questions so do you..

Decision

Once again,we have come to a conclusion. We have decided that our slogan is ' Have a green heart'. To tell you the truth, we got this slogan by our group name, Secret Heart.We just took the heart!:D

Why?
We chose this slogan because if we do not have a green heart, we do not care about the environment. We care for the environment when we have the heart to do it. Earth is dying. Global warming is occurring. The Earth has endured many sufferings because of human activities. We have to stop abusing the Earth. We must save the environment. We have to have a green heart. Please, SAVE THE EARTH!!

Our PW Lesson

Today, we had PW lesson. It was about how to create a blog. It was quite useless to us as we know how to create it but to others,REAlly Important!! So, we listened. But, to our surprise, most of our classmates did not listen and also the people who demostrated on making the blog was pretty slow. This resulted in the class who keeps on saying "can you please hurry up?" How troublesome it could be!

Hi. We are from 1 Humility and our group name is Secret Heart. Our members consist of four members; Fan Shi Yah, Joanne Xu, Jasmine Tan and Siti Nurain. Welcome to our blog.
Actually, there was another member, Fong Ao Ting, but she was transferred to another group. She was actually the leader for our group. So, we appointed another leader who is actally the secretary, Siti Nurain or Ain. She is still the secretary though. Shi Yah is also the secretary. Jasmine and Joanne are members of the group.
